New House

We bought a new house!  It is 1450 sqft, 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen.  The yard is a bit smaller than we wanted, but it is ours and we can do whatever we want with it!  The backyard has an orange tree, 2 almond trees, a grape vine, one ugly tree that is coming out, a couple of ugly bushes that are coming out, and one unidentifiable tree that may or may not be a fruit tree.  It is all really exciting.  We put the offer in on November the 22nd and received our keys and garage door opener on December 23rd so it went pretty fast.  Here are some pics  that I took yesterday.

The front of the house.  Ben said he is going to take down the basketball hoop because you can see dents in the garage where kids missed the hoop.

these are the light in the bathroom.  those need to go asap or the kids are going to figure out pretty soon that they swing around.

our bathroom has a door to the backyard in it.  not sure why but it will be easy to take the kids through there straight to my shower when they are dirty.

the shower that we are hoping is big enough to replace with a bathtub.  the only problem is that the drain is in the middle.

our garage.  it need the cobwebs swept away, but my van fits in it nicely!!!

this is where the washer and drying will go.  I am going to have ben hide the water heater better and have him put up cupboards intead of shelves and maybe get a rug to lay down so when i drop a sock, it doesnt fall on the garage floor.

can you see any almonds?  the birds have eaten holes in all the shells and stole the almonds :(

Well, that's our little house.  As we can afford it, we are going to update little things here and there (like the flooring :) or the light fixtures) but I think we will really like it anyways.  I'll post more pics once we unpack and get things settled.
